ROHS Testing for Stainless Steel Kitchenware
Stainless steel tableware remains widely used today. However, no product is absolutely safe, and stainless steel kitchenware is no exception. For export purposes, kitchenware must undergo food safety testing. Additionally, stainless steel kitchenware may contain the heavy metal “chromium,” a toxic substance that can damage the liver and kidneys, and in severe cases, cause cancer. Therefore, stainless steel kitchenware also requires ROHS certification testing to determine the presence and levels of toxic substances.
Since stainless steel kitchenware requires ROHS testing, how should one conduct this testing? What is the specific application process? Below, we outline the detailed steps.
Stainless Steel Kitchenware ROHS Testing Application Process:
Step 1: Applicant completes the application form and provides a list of product components;
Step 2: Shitong engineers determine testing fees based on the submitted product;
Step 3: After confirming the quote, the applicant signs the case filing form and service agreement, pays the full project fee, and prepares test samples (specific sample quantity to be coordinated with Shitong staff).
Step 4: Upon successful testing, the report is completed, the project is finalized, and the ROHS test report is issued.
