1. Introduction to CE Certification:
The CE mark is a safety certification mark, considered as a passport for manufacturers to enter and access the European market.
In the EU market, the "CE" mark is a mandatory certification. Whether products are manufactured by enterprises within the EU or by those from other countries, to freely circulate in the EU market, they must bear the "CE" mark, indicating that the products comply with the basic requirements of the EU's "New Approach to Technical Harmonization and Standardization" directives.
Which products require CE certification?
Products exported to EU countries (including Turkey, India, Egypt, African countries, etc.), including electrical products, construction products, and mechanical equipment, must undergo CE certification for customs clearance and local sales.
Different products require certification according to different directives based on their intended use, industry, and scope of application.

3. Required Documents for CE Certification:
1. Provide samples required for CE certification testing. (For machinery products, on-site risk assessment is required)
2. Provide product technical documentation: circuit diagrams, assembly drawings, key component list, English user manual, etc.
3. Provide relevant certificates for key components.
4. CE Certification Timeline:
1. General Products: If testing goes smoothly, reports can be issued within 5 working days, but this depends on the number of test items and whether notified body involvement is required.
2. Ordinary Electronic Products without Wireless Functions: Typically require 5-7 working days for certification.
3. Wireless Electronic Products: Products with wireless functions like WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth usually require 2-4 weeks for certification.
4. Machinery Products: Ordinary machinery certification takes about 2 weeks, while hazardous machinery may require 3-4 weeks, possibly involving EU Notified Body intervention.
5. Other Product Categories: Toys, construction products, medical devices, and personal protective equipment have varying timelines, typically 7-10 working days, sometimes even several months.
5. Benefits of CE Certification:
With CE certification, your products gain a special "passport" allowing free circulation across 30 European countries. After EU expansion, Chinese companies face a larger, uniformly regulated European market. With CE certification, once a product enters one EU member state, it can access all other member states' markets.
