Overview of Radiated Immunity (RS)
This standard primarily introduces the test method of the international standard IEC 61000-4-3:2006, corresponding to the national standard GB/T 17626.3:2006 "Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) - Testing and measurement techniques - Radiated, radio-frequency, electromagnetic field immunity test".
Purpose and Application of Radiated Immunity Testing
The main sources of disturbance covered by this standard are electromagnetic fields generated by radio frequency (RF) radiation sources in the frequency range from 80 MHz to 2000 MHz and above. Examples include electromagnetic fields generated by radio stations, television stations, fixed or mobile radio transmitters, and various industrial radiation sources (the upper frequency limit of the standard has now been raised to 6000 MHz, which relates to the frequencies used by current wireless communication devices, many of which operate at 2.4 GHz or 5.6 GHz). Electrical and electronic equipment operating within such electromagnetic fields can be affected, potentially disrupting normal operation. Therefore, the main purpose of this standard is to establish a common reference for evaluating immunity performance against radiated RF electromagnetic fields, providing a fundamental reference for relevant product technical committees, users, and manufacturers.

To establish a common standard for evaluating the ability of electrical and electronic equipment to withstand interference from radiated RF electromagnetic fields.
